I asked 10 girls of the target audience (being 15-21 girls) which of the two choices for my film would work better and what they would enjoy more out of the original plot or a slight horror twist and the vote was unanimous that the original plot would be the better option.
This i feel is a good result as it now means i'm the only student in the class to be creating a coming of age film. It will be a challenge to do everything by myself but it is a theme that really interests me and those friends around me.
My inspiration for the filming will come from the tv show 'sugar rush' and the book to film adaptation of 'Angus, thongs and perfect snogging' (2008).
