For my production company, i would use Goldcrest Pictures. My reasoning for this is because they like to work with book to film adaptations such as 'Twilight' 2008 'Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging' in 2008. The company itself hasnt been around for long and it only began to Produce films in 2008 however it seems to choose films that have done incredibly well!
For My Distribution company i would use Optimum releasing as they distribute mostly low budget independent British films as they are a British company. Titles include Vera Drake (2004) which was directed by Mike Leigh. Optimum releasing has also distributed book adaptations such as 'The Merchant of Venice' 2004 which is useful as my Film is a Book adaptation.
Both companies thrive off of independent films such as moderately mainstream ones therefore they would be perfect for my film.
